Mourning for Heinrich Boning. The father of German comedian and actor Wigald Boning has died at the age of 87.
Wigald Boning (56) mourns the loss of his father Heinrich Boning (1936-2023). As the Lower Saxony “Nordwest-Zeitung” reports, the father of the German comedian and actor died on April 3 at the age of 87. There is currently no information on the cause of death.
“A life characterized by humor and love of home”
According to the obituary notice, which was also signed by his son Wigald, Heinrich Boning “led a life characterized by tolerance, a sense of duty, humor and a love of home”. The “district newspaper Syke” also reportsthat the former bank manager had been a member of the Schützengilde in Wildeshausen (Lower Saxony) for more than 60 years. As a sharp-tongued public prosecutor, Boning even once sentenced his son to a fine at the guild court for “carnage”.
Together with the local researcher Alfred Panschar, Boning published the book “You didn’t miss an opportunity” about the pubs in Wildeshausen. Most recently he is said to have lived in Oldenburg.
