Wild Hearts: 7 minutes of gameplay for the hunting game from EA and Koei Tecmo

After revealing himself last week, Wild Hearts shows us what it’s worth in action with a new gameplay video that shows us a lot. It’s time to see if you’ll fall for this serious competitor to the Capcom license.

Wild boar for snack

As a reminder, Wild Hearts is a Monster Hunter-like developed during a collaboration between Electronic Arts and Koei Tecmo. The Omega Force studio (especially known for the Dynasty Warriors and others Musou) is at the controls of this new hunting game which promises to be ambitious.

This new gameplay video allows us to observe what a standard hunt looks like with the use of Karakuri, an old technology allowing to build many mechanisms like the glider or the zip line at the beginning of this video. These gadgets are also very useful for hunting kemono, monsters of Wild Hearts.

Here we have the Corne Royale, a kemono resulting from a mixture between lianas and a wild boar. This dynamic game gives you a good overview of a hunting session carried out alone then with others for a maximum of three players simultaneously. This trailer also allows us to observe the scenery of this hunting area that is the flowery ground. In total we will have four large open areas, each represented by a season. Here, of course, it is spring.

Wild Hearts will be available on February 17, 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and Origin.
