Nearly a month after 12-year-old Lola was murdered, her parents made a particularly poignant request.
It was just a month ago. On October 14, the body of the little Lola, 12 years oldwas discovered in an abandoned suitcase in his residence in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. Tragically, the news made the rounds of France, plunging the country into a heavy atmosphere as the details of the death of the little girl, tortured, raped and murdered for free by a young woman of 24 years, Dahbia B., made surface…
A month later, Lola’s parents break their silence to make a moving request to France: that a last tribute be paid to their little girl. In a press release published this Thursday, November 10, Delphine and Johan Daviet announced the organization of a white march in memory of Lola, this Wednesday, November 16 in Paris. “This new demonstration of support is a precious help to overcome our so painful ordeal.they wrote. In the extension of what we have always expressed, we ask that those who come to provide their support do so in a personal capacity, without an official scarf or particular sign of belonging to a political organization, whatever it may be..” The tribute will begin at 4 p.m. in a square on the Darius-Milhaud alley and will end in front of the town hall of the 19th arrondissement of Paris, the press release specifies.
A tribute “in serenity and calm, far from political and media unrest”
Very discreet since the tragedy, the parents of the little girl have asked for this march to take place “in serenity and calm, far from political and media agitation”. As they had done during Lola’s funeral, held on October 24 in the collegiate church of Lillers, in Pas-de-Calais, they also encouraged the “media” and “individuals” at “keep the distance necessary for this tribute to be worthy.”
