Wild weather – Nova Rock: March of the professional youth

All good things come in threes. That’s how many days it took for Nova Rock to return to what we were used to before the pandemic: windy, dusty and scorching hot. At least for most of the day. We’re a long way from the “30 mugs” in the shade, but when the merciless Pannonian wind isn’t blowing across the steppe, faces turn red more quickly and torrents of sweat run down shirtless bodies. Finally, summer, sun, party fun. On the third day of the festival, it’s not just the fans – some of whom are already on the ropes in terms of fitness – who are looking forward to this, but also the German post-hardcore up-and-comers Future Palace, who are creating a great atmosphere on the Red Bull Stage. “We’ve been to Austria six times so far and now we’re finally at Nova Rock,” says guitarist Manuel Kohlert happily in the “Krone” talk.
