Wildfrost throws a chill on deck-building

The town of Snowdwell is on high alert. The Wildfrost, and its armies of frozen minions, is at the gates, threatening to sweep away everything in its path. At the head of one of the last surviving tribes, you will have to repel the invader, cards in hand, through random and/or scripted battles. Each encounter will be an opportunity to (re)compose your deck from companions or elemental powers looted on the battlefield. Modeled on the narrative model of a Slay the Spire, the game will therefore alternate its confrontations with phases of managers, with the possibility of going to reinforce our village of Snowdwell to benefit from buffs permanent on future games.

two-headed work, Wildfrost is the baby of an indie duo. On the one hand, Will Lewis of the studio Deadpan Games (Caveblazers), who takes care of the programming part. On the other, the artist Gaziter, who notably officiated on Forager and Knotbotand who signs here a DA in total adequacy with the titles of the Chucklefish stable (Stardew Valley, Eastward)

If the game will be de facto in English, it will also be translated into Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (other languages will come later) as soon as it is officially released, scheduled for next winter.
