Since the start of the farmers’ protests, Karine Le Marchand has been cited numerous times. It must be said that its flagship show Love is in the meadow, on M6, is supported by the profession. Thursday January 25, 2024, she confided in the columns of Parisian on the support it provides to farmers. She considers their anger legitimate, and it even makes her “pleasure”. In her interview, she returned to the complicated situation that farmers are experiencing. It’s a cause close to her heart since she has just produced a documentary Peasant family who puts “highlighting the destinies of farmers who had the feeling of being discredited”, explains the M6 host. It is therefore obvious for the TV presenter to support this profession: “You can’t produce a documentary like I did, present Love is in the meadowmeet farmers all year round, and sleep soundly.”
Karine Le Marchand soon in demonstration?
That’s not all since the M6 star says he is ready to demonstrate to support the farmers: “If there is a big demonstration in Paris, I will, of course, go see them and I will ride on their tractor with pleasure! It would also be good if non-farmers joined them.” Karine Le Marchand is therefore very touched by this cause and offered some solutions to put in place: “To make amends with them, because they have been lugged around for years, to thank them for what they give us at the national level and to respect them. Which above all involves requiring us to buy their products at the right price.” Finally, The Parisian asked the celebrity if he would be interested in the position of Minister of Agriculture. This question made him laugh a lot but his answer is clear: “No. I’m not sure that with my sense of diplomacy, I will last the government for long.” She had already responded to it in January 2021. This does not prevent her from continuing to provide her full support to the profession: “But if I can help, I am at their service”she concluded.
