Criticized on the networks but sold-out in 24 hours?
Although widely criticized, the dress-mask was a victim of its success! Indeed, Lottie Moss, Kate Moss's little one and model with 320k subscribers on Instagram wore the famous dress for the British fashion retailer. In addition to its ultra competitive price (25 €, but sold at 17 €), it did not take 24 hours for it to be out of stock. Proof that she has won over many fashionistas!
Finally the dress-mask, for or against?
Apart from the style, only one shadow on the board. The dress does not appear to have a filter that would protect against Covid-19. And nothing indicates that the mask part meets AFNOR standards, mandatory for fabric masks.
After nothing prevents putting on a real mask underneath to protect yourself from the virus. But does that mean you have to change your dress every 4 hours? Not sure it works. At least PrettyLittleThing (PLT for close friends) will have tried.
