Archives 81 is Netflix’s new horror series that everyone is watching. It is adapted from the eponymous podcast by Dan Powell and Marc Sollinger. The latter are also producers of this new program which quickly rose to the top 10 of the most watched content on Netflix. Directed by Rebecca Thomas, Archives 81 tells the story of Dan Turner, an archivist fan of VHS who begins to restore a collection of cassettes from a mysterious fire dating back to 1994. With Archives 81, thrills are guaranteed on Netflix! It remains to be seen whether we will be able to see a sequel to this series. Rebecca Thomas answered the question in a interview given to Entertainment Weekly. “I hope there will be a second one, but we don’t know yet. But the series was designed to have several seasons. We already have season 2 in mind…”, she said.

Archive 81 is Netflix’s new hit horror series
Netflix has not confirmed the signing of a season 2, but hope is therefore on the side of the director to whom we already owe an episode of Stranger Things. On the casting side, Season 1 of Archive 81 enchanted us. Dan Turner is played by Mamoudou Athie. We can also count on the presence of Dina Shihabi, Matt McGorry or Ariana Neal.
