Most players of Warzone are excited about the upcoming arrival of Fortune’s Keep, but some are concerned that it will replace Rebith Island. Here’s everything we know about it.
Rebirth Island had a pretty rocky start to Warzone. While players were eagerly awaiting the idea of having a new map available, a number of them were disappointed at first sight by the arrival of this new playground in the image of Alcatraz.
Fortunately Season 2 Reloaded has come to breathe new life into Rebirth Island, reconciling players with the map, but for how long?
Warzone’s next map has begun to unfold.
As a new card of the same ilk begins to make headlines, many fear that it will come to replace it, as was the case for Verdansk when Caldera debuted.
Fortune’s Keep was featured on the Call of Duty Blog
It was the official franchise blog that tipped players off with a post that detailed an upcoming event that will “should keep everyone even more alert on an island they might need to escape from”.
It was also indicated that mercenaries are ready to attack Rebirth, and therefore it was necessary “get ahead of them and launch a coordinated first strike on their base before our tactical position in the Aral Sea is lost.” As if that were not enough, it was also written that players should “stand ready to receive details on extraction protocols and new assignments.”

In the face of all these clues to what’s next, many believe that Warzone will move away from Rebirth Island altogether and Fortune’s Keep will take over.
Fortune’s Keep Leaks
Numerous leaks have already appeared around Fortune’s Keep, suggesting that the map will replace Rebirth Island. A well-known dataminer, TheGhostOfHope, notably suggested that the island was going to be bombed.

The Warzone Trello says a new game mode is coming to Rebirth on June 20. It is likely that this limited time mode will mark the end of Rebirth Island.
In the past, Raven Software has explained that it’s complicated to have Verdansk and Caldera at the same time, and it’s entirely possible that this is also the case for Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep.
Of course, for now, these are just leaks and rumors. We will still have to wait a few days before the developers further lift the veil on Season 4 of the battle royale.
