“Lindenstrasse” star Willi Herren is dead. The actor and entertainer was found lifeless by the police in Cologne – the background to his death has not yet been officially confirmed.
The sudden death of TV star Willi Herren comes as a complete surprise not only for his fans. The entertainer had just opened a potato food truck and commented on the separation from his wife Jasmin – now he was found in his Cologne apartment by the police, who have officially confirmed his death.

Herren, who became famous nationwide as the “Lindenstrasse” villain Oliver Klatt, was also successful as a Mallorca hit star. Pop star Mickie Krause reacted to the sad news on Instagram all the more horrified. “I’m really shocked right now. Words fail me,” said Krause. “You were a fine guy, with many highs, but also many lows in your life!” Herren has been fighting his alcohol and drug problems for years and has already had several withdrawal treatments. There is still no official information about the cause of death – just bewilderment and sadness among fans, family and companions. “I’ve always seen you as a lovable colleague!” Mickie Krause continues to write on Instagram. “You had your heart in the right place! It makes me all the more sad that you are no longer with us!”
