Burned out food truck – police initiate an investigation
Willi Herren opened his food truck shortly before his death.
The food truck, with which Willi Herren wanted to sell potato pancakes shortly before his death, burned down in a parking lot. The police are now trying to find out what caused the fire.
After the sudden death of Willi Herren on April 20th, his food truck “Willi Herren’s Rievkoochebud” in Frechen near Cologne remained open. Now the car is completely burned out, as the “Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger” reports. The potato fritters food truck had already been on fire when the emergency services were notified late on Sunday evening.
Arson or technical defect?
The fire could only be extinguished after an hour. The roof structure under which the car was located was also damaged, according to the report. The flames could be prevented from spreading to other parts of the building. Fortunately, no people were injured either. The police and fire brigade have not yet been able to clarify the cause of the fire, and initial investigations have been initiated.
