On April 16, Willi Herren opened his food truck. After his death, the car is due to open again next Thursday in his honor.

Last Friday, Willi Herren (1975-2021) opened his food truck “Willi Herren’s Rievkoochebud” in Frechen near Cologne in the presence of colleagues. After the death of the TV star, his business partners want to reopen the car in his honor next Thursday, as can be seen from an Instagram post from the potato fritter car. Visitors and fans of the popular singer could like to leave flowers and candles there, it says in the post. “This truck was his baby and his legacy to you.”

Willi Herren died last Tuesday (April 20) at the age of 45 in his apartment in Cologne. After numerous concert cancellations, the food truck should serve the singer as a new pillar in the corona pandemic.
