Willi Herren: "They thought I wanted to travel the country illegally"

Willi Herren got to know the airport prison in Thailand. This is due to a passport reported as stolen.

Willi Herren (45) traveled to Thailand to shoot the new RTL two trash show "Battle of Reality Stars – Shipwreck on Dream Beach". Instead of under palm trees, the Ballermann singer ended up in the airport prison, as he told RTL to his prominent colleagues in front of the camera. A passport reported as stolen was to blame for the misery.

Willi Herren had reported the passport as stolen two years ago, but found it again. He apparently never had any problems with the document until he was at Bangkok airport. "I hand over my passport. Suddenly they became very different to me," Herren describes the situation. "They thought I wanted to travel the country illegally."

At first, the reality star thought it was all part of the show. But far from it: he was questioned at the airport for eight hours. When gentlemen got a little cheekier, "he took a small bamboo cane and hewed my palm. So I'm sitting here."

Willi Herren had to go back to Germany

The odyssey does not end there: the 45-year-old was not allowed to enter and was put on a plane back to Germany. When he got back home, he was able to quickly clear up the misunderstanding and get valid travel documents. Immediately we went back to Thailand and the shooting of "Kampf der Realitystars" started on the beach in Phuket.

The new trash show "Kampf der Realitystars" starts on July 22nd at 8:15 p.m. on RTLzwei. In the end, the winner will receive 50,000 euros.
