This Tuesday, January 10, was marked by the worldwide release of Prince Harry’s long-awaited memoir. Memories that deeply harm the royal family, with which the prince would however like to reconnect in the future. What is really preparing between the two parties?
In recent months, Harry has been on all fronts, and still is. Between the broadcast of his documentary mini-series shared with his wife Meghan in December 2022, and the recent release of his memoirs all over the world, the prince is talked about in every possible way. He also organized two exclusive interviews before the publication of Sparein which he had already wanted to do some explosive revelations.
In particular that of his desire to reconnect with the royal family, provided let her admit her wrongs. However, this does not seem to be about to happen, at least not so soon given the seriousness of the facts alleged against the British crown. Harry’s testimony seriously harms her and was not kind, particularly towards his brother, of whom he painted a very bad portrait. Harry indeed recounted in detail a violent altercation during which William would have physically injured his little brother. His wife, Kate Middleton, was also not spared by her Harry. In short, quick reconciliations seem impossible.
Reconciliations encouraged before the coronation
Next May, more specifically the May 6will take place the coronation of King Charles III. A historic event that will unfortunately be tainted if Harry does not come. A royal source thus confided that reconciliations would be encouraged before this most important date between the royal family and Harry, in particular to avoid that all of this becomes “such a circus and such a distraction”. The source then told the Times that this situation was, despite everything “reparable”but under certain conditions: “Both sides have to put their hands up and admit ‘we didn’t do everything right and we got it a lot wrong’. It’s going to take flexibility from all sides, but it can be done“she assured.
Harry never hid her desire to reconnect with her father and brother, on condition that they confess their faults. According to the royal source, King Charles would have nothing against the terms quoted in the previous paragraph and would ready to invite Meghan and Harry to his coronation. It remains to be seen whether William, and Kate as well, are in agreement with this arrangement, which is more akin to a ‘political’ agreement so as not to ridicule the royal family any longer. The month of May is still far away, this will perhaps give both parties time to calm down after this explosive outing and to talk with their heads rested.
