William Shatner: Captain Kirk's log entries from the corona isolation

William Shatner (88) with his role as Captain Kirk has probably not yet finished. The actor used social media to provide "Star Trek" fans with log entries as they are used to from the series and the films. The reason for his "records" is his corona isolation.

Just a few weeks ago, Shatner had made it unmistakably clear on Twitter that he would never again play the role of Captain Kirk. He still has a little bit of fun with it: "The captain's logbook: Sidereal 1 of self-imposed isolation. After I got home on the planet, I was warmly welcomed by the emissaries Espresso & Macchiato. I look forward to my planned break from my normal duties. Kirk out ", the actor wrote to his more than 2.5 million Twitter followers. Espresso and macchiato are called Shatner's dogs.

New areas are being explored

In an additional tweet he also said that he would like to thank those in Europe who visited his show. He would clarify whether he could make up for his canceled appearances. Then on Thursday he tweeted: "Logbook: Sidereal 2 of self-imposed isolation. The envoys Macchiato & Espresso have explored a new area called underbed and brought me missing socks and other items to get my attention and admiration."

William Shatner is one of the many celebrities who use social media to entertain their fans from home during the Corona crisis. Stars such as Nicole Kidman (52) and musicians Keith Urban (52) or Chris Martin (43) provided musical entertainment.
