Ulja lives in a small German town and is very enthusiastic about science. She has discovered a small asteroid that will fall to earth in a few days. However, her thirst for knowledge regularly pisses off her strictly religious grandmother Olga, until one day she banishes everything that has to do with science from Ulja’s life. Now that Ulja has no way of tracking the asteroid any further, she hires Henk, a boy from her class, to drive her to Belarus. Together they embark on a long journey to see the impact. Hot on their heels: Grandma Olga, the rest of the family, the pastor and half the congregation.
