Her new drama tells the story of Taeko, who lives with her husband Jiro and son Keita across from her in-laws. As she discovers the existence of a former fiancée of her husband, Keita’s biological father resurfaces. It’s the start of a cruel game of musical chairs, from which no one will emerge unscathed… But the heart of the plot is to be discovered on the big screen from June 14, as its trailer specifies, and its display.

THE RETURN OF THE HANABI SEASONS
Japanese cinema, and more specifically director Kôji Fukada, are in the spotlight at the Les Saisons Hanabi Printemps 2023 festival. As the filmmaker prepares to unveil Love Life to the public, this and six other films Japanese are to be discovered exclusively in participating cinemas, from May 31 everywhere in France and from June 7 in Paris.
Among the feature films screened, spectators will be able to see La Comédie Humaine, the director’s first film, which has not yet been released. But also The Beauty of the Gesture, Rendez-vous à Tokyo, A Man, Coming soon or Like a Monday: comedy, drama, thriller… there is something for everyone.
