9800 employees in more than 2900 companies
The trade group for fashion and leisure articles in Lower Austria includes more than 2,900 companies that employ almost 9,800 people. In the federal state, over 200 apprentices are currently being trained by 70 training companies in the industry. “We are happy about every purchase in our company. If you look back, since the start of the first lockdown in March 2020, shops with an area of more than 400m² had been closed for almost 150 days, which led to high sales losses in many businesses,” Stift notes.
