Optional update
Microsoft has rolled out the first preview build of Windows 10 22H2, build 19045.1865 (KB501878). Windows Insider for Business participants using “commercial devices” configured for the Release Preview channel or Windows Update for Business policies will have Windows 10 22H2 released to them automatically.
The new version will be designated as an optional Windows 10 update. Retail devices are those that are not running Windows 10 Home, are managed by an IT administrator through Microsoft Endpoint Manager or other management products, or are have a volume license key or commercial ID or are joined to a domain.
If you’re signed up for the Insider Program in the Release Preview channel but aren’t eligible for auto-delivery of the new build, you can find it by going to Settings > Windows Update. All you have to do is download and install Windows 10 22H2.

Microsoft did not share the list of new features or fixes contained in Windows 10 22H2.
Microsoft watchers assume it will be a very minor update to Windows 10 and will likely ship via an activation pack.
