Microsoft finally reacts and will offer a patch

The latter manifests itself more precisely when users seek to verify the effective access permissions from the “Advanced security settings” dialog box for shared files and folders. From its official website, Microsoft has announced that it is working on a patch to remedy this unfortunate bug. It should logically be published a little later in the month. As a temporary solution, the manufacturer offers its customers to restart their computer and/or disconnect, then reconnect to their account.
