Windows 11 laptop for 230 euros at Aldi: Ideal for Office, emails and the Internet

If you are looking for a notebook for surfing, emails, office or online banking, then you don’t need to buy a device that costs hundreds of euros. These are oversized for simple tasks and can easily cost 500 euros or more. There is currently an inexpensive alternative in Aldi’s online shop that costs just 229 euros.

The discounter notebook from Medion offers a 14-inch screen with full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), the keyboard has large keys and an equally large trackpad for mouse control. However, there is no number pad due to the device’s compact size.

The processor used is an Intel Pentium Silver N5030 with four cores, and flash memory with 128 gigabytes of storage space is also installed. The RAM of 4 gigabytes is sufficient for simple tasks.

Lots of ports, good connectivity

The laptop also offers two speakers, a webcam, space for an SSD, WiFi and Bluetooth 5.1. The battery life is up to nine hours and the weight is 1.25 kilograms.

The notebook has three USB interfaces, including a USB-C socket. There is also a mini HDMI out port, LAN input, card reader and audio output. The operating system used is Windows 11S, and there is also a Microsoft 365 subscription for one year with the purchase. So you can use Office, Outlook and Co. for 365 days for free.

The Medion laptop is only sold by Aldi and in the Medion shop. The manufacturer charges just under 250 euros, but at Aldi you only pay 229 euros.
