How the pricing table works
Since the release of Windows 11 in 2021, the pace of interesting new features offered by the operating system has slowed considerably, Microsoft fixing a few bugs here and there while improving existing elements.
In its build 25136 reserved for Insiders, the Redmond firm has just added a small feature highly anticipated by some: we can finally open several tabs in File Explorer. No more opening 25 windows on the Desktop, which can now stay clean and feng shui.
At the same time, we can appreciate this merry mess of explorers that cover half of the desktop, all the more practical for dragging and dropping files, but at least the choice will now be left to users. Microsoft also takes the opportunity to slightly modify the explorer with, among other things, quick access to pinned and regularly used files.
Widgets pass the second
This build also improves the widgets displayed at the bottom left of the taskbar (the default weather widget). Some widgets will be more dynamic and may evolve according to live news. This will be the case of widgets related to finance, sports or important information, for example. A good way to be kept informed of topics of interest, provided that it is not too intrusive. Microsoft specifies that without user interaction with the widget in the event of an alert, the weather widget resumes its place automatically.
These new features are currently only available to Insiders in the developer channel, who will be able to test them and give their feedback before they are rolled out to all Windows 11 users in the coming months.
