The US company Microsoft released the new cumulative update KB5012643 for Windows 11, which should fix many errors. There are also some improvements included. The build is almost identical to the one that was recently published in the Windows Insider Preview channel.

According to the technology blog XDA Developers, the error with the minimize, maximize and close buttons should no longer occur. Furthermore, subtitles of videos should no longer be cut off.

The “boot bug”, which is said to have caused a PC to boot up over 40 minutes, is also said to have been fixed. You can take a closer look at all other improvements on the update’s support page.

The update can be installed via “Windows Update” in the settings or manually via the Microsoft update catalogue.
