Windows updates actually provide your Windows 11 with new functions and close security gaps. But sometimes they also cause new problems. That seems to be the case for the December update for Windows 11 22H2 at the moment, as some comments from Reddit users with AMD processors show.
In the comments section of a Reddit post about Windows 11 Cumulative Updates, some users write about a specific issue. Systems with AMD processors appear to freeze for several seconds to minutes at random times. This should even happen on Windows 10.
There is no note on this issue in the Windows Health Hub yet. Known errors and problems related to new Windows versions are usually collected there and, if available, temporary solutions are presented. If you experience this problem with your PC with an AMD processor, you could try to roll Windows back to a previous update. You can also use the Feedback Hub app to report your issue.
