Windows 11: Paint allows objects to be isolated with just one click

WINDOWS 11

Paint gets a practical feature under Windows 11. With just one click you can have the background removed from images and isolate objects.

With Paint, Windows 11 includes a rudimentary tool for editing images. This will be supplemented with a practical function in the near future. As Microsoft announced in a blog post, Paint will soon allow you to isolate objects in images with just one click.

Paint can either determine the objects itself and remove the background, or you can use the selection tool to determine which areas of the image the background should be removed from. The following video shows you the new feature in action.

Currently only usable by Windows Insiders

The feature is practical if you want to make photo montages or create collages. Other tools also offer similar functions, but these often cost money or require more knowledge of image editing.

The function is currently still in the testing phase and can only be tried out by Windows Insiders in the Canary and Dev channels. It is not yet known when Microsoft will release the function for all Windows fans via an update.
