By the end of October, Microsoft should release update 23H2 for Windows 11. If this is particularly awaited by customers of the operating system, it is in particular because of the various functionalities related to AI that it should contain. It is in fact on this occasion that the Copilot virtual assistant should make its debut. Its main mission will be to simplify the lives of its users by acting as a real co-pilot. But this is obviously not the only novelty boosted by artificial intelligence that will arrive in the coming weeks…
As reported to us by our colleagues on the site TechRadar (by Windows Latest), Windows 11 wallpapers should soon benefit from new advantages thanks to AI. In particular, desktop backgrounds should be able to animate to give a sense of depth when the user moves the mouse cursor. To make the illusion more real than ever, the Redmond firm could incorporate a parallax effect, which would then give the impression that the wallpaper is moving more slowly than the windows and applications in the foreground.
As a reminder, this feature had already been talked about a few months ago. So things finally seem to be coming together for Microsoft, which now seems (almost) ready to roll out its new AI-based wallpapers.
