However, Microsoft does not seem to leave the Windows 11 taskbar on the floor. It will indeed soon benefit from a redesign allowing it to become not more complete (or more flexible), but more minimalist.

The website Windows Latest recently discovered, in the latest version of the dev channel, the presence of two new options accessible from the taskbar settings, namely “Hide clock from taskbar” and “Hide time and date “.
If the date and time are not the elements displayed on the screen that take up the most space (and they are moreover very practical), the Redmond firm still seems to want to allow its customers to lighten their taskbar if they wish. That said, we hope that the year 2023 will be the year that will see the birth of a removable taskbar within Windows 11. After all, we can dream, right?
