Microsoft continues its efforts to improve Windows 11
. The Redmond firm has just deployed a new build of its operating system
in the developer channel.

On the program: an improvement in the indexing of files in Explorer, but also the addition of voice support with Airpods.

Three major novelties on the program

Members of the Insiders program have just received build 22526 of Windows 11. This update, to be released later for all users, is still minor, but brings a small set of interesting changes. Starting with a new behavior for the Alt + Tab keyboard shortcut, used to quickly navigate between open windows. With this new version, Microsoft is testing a new display of the multitasking menu where only part of the screen is hidden to display the various open applications. The current version hides the entire screen to show open windows.

Another major novelty, this update to Windows 11 improves the compatibility of the OS with Apple products, and more particularly the brand’s audio devices. The Redmond company explains that it has added wideband audio support, thus offering better voice quality during voice calls made with AirPods. Last notable improvement, the acceleration of the file search from Explorer. Microsoft says it is testing indexing of a larger number of file locations.
