That’s it, the Sun Valley 2 update for Windows 11 is now available to Insiders members in RTM version. If you missed it, remember that this build 22621, as it is called for the moment, is the next big update for Windows 11. Here, there will be no question of security patches or a few minor additions: Microsoft prepares a large number of new features that promise to change the use that we have of the operating system.

We have already given you a short summary of the main new features that will be found in Sun Valley 2. The German media DeskModder took a look at the build to study it in depth and found some interesting information. In total, there are no less than 35 applications preinstalled with the update. Note that Edge browser, C++ runtime and language pack are not counted.

Windows 11 22H2 is heavy on preinstalled applications

Do not panic: you will have no trouble uninstalling the majority of these invasive applications. For most of them, you just have to right click on them to delete them. We still advise you to go through a utility like Revo Uninstaller to perform a clean and complete uninstallation of the application.

On the other hand, for others, the matter will prove to be a bit more complicated. Indeed, for some of these applications, it will be necessary to go through Powershell to manage to get rid of them. The thing is not insurmountable, but it is an extra effort to provide if the icon of these applications annoys us.

Regarding the deployment of Windows 22H2, the schedule is still relatively vague. We can nevertheless count on this second semester, most certainly around next September. Until then, we will have to make do with a few minor updates and security patches.
