While Microsoft is gradually implementing some new customization features in its operating system, here is one that should not leave you indifferent.

At the very beginning of the year, we learned that Microsoft was preparing the ground for a new feature, namely the possibility of adding stickers to its desktop. The idea being of course to always give it more personality. A feature reserved for Windows 11, which only the luckiest (namely members of the Insider program) have been able to try for the moment. More precisely, it offers a complete tool that allows users to edit stickers in order to place them as they wish on their wallpaper.

If, for the moment, the functionality is still not accessible to the general public, it is a safe bet that it will be implemented as early as next year, and perhaps even following the publication of updates ” Moments” promised by Microsoft. Obviously, this has yet to be confirmed.

In order to give free rein to your imagination, the Redmond firm will simply allow you to draw stickers on your desk yourself. A (revolutionary) discovery that we owe to Albacore, on Twitter, and which took its first steps in the build 25174.

At present, however, note that it seems impossible to create your own stickers in a multi-monitor setup. If we do not know when this tool will be officially deployed, everything suggests that it should at least delight fans of customization.
