Copilot is Microsoft’s free AI, but the company has recently offered a premium subscription called Copilot Pro, which adds more features and benefits, such as access to GPT-4 Turbo, Office integration , custom GPTs, improved image generation, and much more. The subscription costs 20 dollars per month and Microsoft now wants to make sure that all Windows 11 users know about it.

This is why Microsoft plans to display Copilot Pro ads in the Windows 11 Settings app. Ads will appear on the Settings app home page, which is the first page users see when they open the app. The ads will give a brief description of Copilot Pro and what it can do, and will also provide links to subscribe or learn more about the service.

Ads are not visible to everyonebut they can be enabled using a tool called ViVeTool, which can change some hidden features and IDs in Windows 11.

To enable ads, users must download ViVeTool from GitHub, launch Command Prompt as administrator, type vivetool /enable /id:47942561, and press Enter. Also note that Ads are currently only available to users in the United States.

It is not yet clear when the ads will be extended to all Windows 11 users, or whether they will be optional or required. He is Microsoft may test the ads with a limited group of users before deciding whether to launch them globally. Copilot Pro announcements aren’t the only thing Microsoft is promoting on the Settings home page. The company also uses this page to promote its Microsoft 365 subscription and its OneDrive cloud storage service.
