Wine every Friday or hormones to fall asleep: The upbringing methods of the stars always cause excitement on social media.
You can argue about parenting styles – particularly well on the Internet and particularly well with the example of celebrities. This went even higher with Tamara Ecclestone’s (38) breastfeeding story: the presenter admitted in 2019 that she had breastfed her daughter until she was four years old. She didn’t expect the hysteria that this information triggered among her followers, she told the “Daily Mail” at the time.
How to do it, do it wrong as a celebrity mom
As a mother on the Internet, it doesn’t seem to be easy in general: Two months ago, Coco Austin (43), wife of Ice-T (64), still drove her daughter around in a stroller at the age of six a shit storm. Many did not like the fact that Sarah Engels (29) Alessio was still wearing diapers at the age of two. Sara Kulka (32), on the other hand, received criticism for the fact that her child no longer wore diapers at a very early age. And Cathy Hummels (34) caused a misunderstanding because she kissed her then one-year-old son Ludwig on the mouth.
In the case of the US musician John Roderick and his questionable method of upbringing, the shitstorm ended with a deleted Twitter account. He reported in 2021 proudly in 22 tweets about the odyssey of his daughter who was hungry and wanted to open a can of beans. Instead of explaining how to use a can opener to the nine-year-old, he insisted she figure it out herself – which took six hours and a few tears.
