Even in winter we don’t have to go without our beloved Lillet. We show you a wonderfully Christmassy and deliciously warm cinnamon-Lillet cocktail with apple and maple syrup.

He accompanied us through the summer and gave us beautiful moments. We’re talking about the popular Aperitif Wildberry Lillet. Now that it’s getting colder and snowier, most people aren’t really in the mood for ice-cold drinks, they’re all screaming for it warm winter cocktails, which warm us up from the inside instead of mulled wine and hot chocolate. So it’s about time the Wildberry Lillet got a winter upgrade!

We mix a warm drink Lillet Blanc and apple juice and refine it with Christmas notes of cinnamon and anise. Sweet maple syrup and a Splash of lemon round off the winter cocktail perfectly.

Warm cinnamon Lillet with apple: Here’s how

Ingredients for 2 glasses

  • 200 ml apple juice
  • 4 cl lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 star anise
  • 100ml Lillet Blanc
  • 4 organic orange slices
  • 4 apple carvers

preparation

  1. Heat the apple juice with lemon juice, maple syrup, cinnamon and star anise in a saucepan and leave to stand for about 10 minutes.
  2. Then pour in the Lillet and mix well. Wash the orange and apple and cut into slices or small wedges. Garnish two glasses each with 2 orange and apple slices and divide the warm cinnamon-Lillet cocktail between the glasses. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and star anise, if you like, and enjoy straight away.

The drink is also suitable as a warm winter punch for Christmas or cozy evenings with friends. Simply place a large pot on the stove, add all the ingredients excluding the Lillet, and heat as directed. Then turn the stove down to the lowest setting and set out glasses, a bar measure, and Lillet. Each guest can fill a shot (about 4 cl) in their glass and top it up with a warm punch. By the way, you also have one non-alcoholic alternative on offer if the Lillet simply left out becomes.
