An unknown driver, presumably a Honda vehicle, was on the road on Zürcherstrasse in Winterthur early on Sunday morning. As the city police wrote in a message, shortly before 6 a.m. at the junction of Zürcher- / Jäger- / Brühlbergstrasse against the central island and the light signal there.
Then he drove around 280 meters further into town with the damaged metal post and the attached signage. At the level of the property at Zürcherstrasse 30, the post was placed on the side of the road. Without worrying about the damage done, the unknown driver continued his journey. Damage to the traffic light system and the signalization amounted to around CHF 30,000.
The police are looking for witnesses. People who can provide relevant information are asked to contact the Winterthur City Police on 052 267 51 52 immediately.
