Christmas is just around the corner and, as always, you can't start thinking about the right gifts early enough. And: What do I actually wish for myself for Christmas? One or two of our editors at least already know what should be on their personal wish lists this year. One of them will report on it every week. Let yourself be inspired by these wish and gift ideas.
Since I would rather give Christmas presents to my loved ones than receive presents myself, I find it very difficult every year with my own wish list. As a gala editor in the fashion and beauty department, I surround myself with beautiful things every day. If a piece catches my eye in particular, I don't want to wait until Christmas, but finally make my wish come true.
Nevertheless, I managed to get one or the other dream object on my list that I wouldn't be averse to if I found it again under the Christmas tree.
There was once …
Those who cannot travel can still enjoy the imaginative world of books. In the last few years Luca Di Fulvio has repeatedly managed to touch me deeply with his novels. His secret recipe from: historical events, the difficulties of everyday life and a love story that is faced with challenges always comes up without repeating itself. To this day, the book "The Boy Who Gave Dreams" is one of my favorite books. I haven't read a novel by him yet, that's why it says it book "Once upon a time in Italy" is at the top of my wish list.
A sweater to snuggle up to
Anyone who knows me knows: I freeze easily. That's why I prefer to wear oversized chunky sweaters in winter. To bring a little variety to my wardrobe, I've been looking for one for a long time Norwegian sweater with that certain something. I have now found a beautiful Christmas sweater with a feel-good guarantee at LeGer, the fashion label of top model Lena Gercke. The best thing about it: The sweater is made of 100 percent wool and thus keeps you incredibly warm – winter can come!
Luxury for your own body
The older I get, the more attention my skin needs. Showering without body cream? Unthinkable. In everyday life I prefer sustainable body lotions, which I don't necessarily buy because of the scent, but rather because of the environmentally friendly production. But every now and then I really enjoy creaming my body with the Oudh Accord & Gold Body Lotion from Molton Brown and there is a very specific reason for this. The British label Molton Brown has specialized in bath and body care products that are anything but eight fifteen due to their exotic scents.
Those who prefer extravagant, heavy oriental fragrances should get the Molton Brown body lotion be sure to write on the wish list. Winter time is tea time
In winter I become a tea drinker. Whether it's apple-cinnamon tea or chai, the best way to warm yourself is to drink tea. My constant companion is accordingly an aluminum-colored Stelton thermos flask, which not only looks incredibly chic, but also completely convinced me with its closure system. I would like to add one to this thermos water heater added, because my current device is slowly giving up the ghost. I don't have to hesitate long – add it to my wish list.
For a little more color in the dark season
Light and color – both of these are neglected in winter. These two things are exactly the perfect recipe against the winter blues. My wardrobe could also use a little more color, I always go for black styles that you can't go wrong with. But now it's over! I fell in love with a real cracker. A yellow one Wool coat from custommade did it to me with his hunched shoulders. The good piece is a bit expensive, but maybe Santa Clause will find a way to fulfill my wish – the coat will still end up on my wish list.
