With Exoprimal, Capcom will rain dinosaurs in 2023

These are therefore two new licenses which are now expected at Capcom next year. In addition to the very secret Pragmata, Capcom unveils Exoprimal, a vision of its own of the online cooperative TPS in which the planet is subject to invasions of dinosaurs which arise through vortexes, whose appearances can fortunately be anticipated thanks to the very serious “dinosaurian forecasts”, a sort of weather report that allows the area to be evacuated to make way for the cleaners.

As a vibrant homage to Anthem, BioWare’s little angel gone too soon, the characters of Exoprimal fight while donning exoskeletons representing different complementary classes, the main groups being Assault, Tank and Support. The big advantage here is that the soldiers can change their exoskeleton in the middle of the fight, because we can easily imagine that we don’t equip ourselves in the same way depending on whether we face a pack of raptors, an enraged triceratops or a menacing t-rex.

Exoprimal, whose action takes place in 2040, is offered to us by the duo of Ichiro Kiyokawa in production and Takuro Hiraoka in direction. The latter explains in the video that the game features two teams of five members who compete to accomplish their objectives first. The objectives in question will tend to change depending on the achievements and the evolution of the action on the ground, so each game will be different. The game’s official website further confirms that Exoprimal is all about online gaming.
