Expected for the end of the year, the new iOS 16 continues to distill its secrets.

We learn today that the new OS signed Apple will allow users to delete more Apple applications on their iPhone.

iOS 16 will clean up your iPhone

The new iOS 16 is expected for the end of the year in its final version, but developers (and the most intrepid users) can already discover Apple’s future OS, through the beta version. And if Apple had highlighted certain possibilities offered by this future operating system, the tests make it possible to discover some often minor optimizations, but nevertheless interesting.

Very recently it is 9to5Mac who could see that iOS 16 was going to offer more freedom to users, with regard to pre-installed applications. With an iPhone running iOS 16, users will notably be able to remove Apple’s native apps, including Find My, Health, and Clock. The upcoming iPadOS 16 will offer similar flexibility.

Soon, only a few native Apple applications will remain on the iPhone, namely Phone, Safari, Messages or the AppStore. Remember that the Mail, Calendar, Music, Maps or Podcasts applications, which accompany each new iPhone, can already be deleted by the user.
