With its unique design, the Pure Advance reinvents the electric scooter

Driving comfort and safety for all types of journeys: this is the credo of the scooter manufacturer Pure Electric. With its Pure Advance model, the British company offers an exceptional model that has more than one trick up its sleeve.

With the return of sunny days, soft mobility is more than ever on the rise and the electric scooter is one of them. Designed to drive safely on all types of terrain, from the most urban to the most rural, the Pure Advance from the British company Pure Electric has many assets to appeal to city dwellers, including a completely new design.

A scooter designed for driving comfort

Driving serenely in town or on the outskirts of large cities is often a cause for concern for scooter riders, and for good reason. The two wheels offered on the market are generally thought of as occasional transport tools rather than as a means of daily transport.

It is on this ground that Pure Electric, with its Pure Advance, offers a very different vision of the electric scooter. To ensure maximum stability for the driver, the manufacturer has chosen to place retractable footrests on each side of the scooter, instead of the usual tray. A very good idea that distributes the weight of the driver and improves driving comfort. You will no longer have to think about the positioning of your feet.

Safety first

Particular attention has also been paid to the brakes. At the front, you have to rely on a drum brake. At the rear, the Pure Advance benefits from an electric brake to ensure smooth but effective stopping. A big advantage when handling an electric scooter with a top speed of 25 km/h and a range of 40 km.

To ensure safety on the road, the Pure Advance has several light indicators, starting with a rear signal light which indicates braking and which helps to indicate its presence on the road. The Pure Advance also has a front presence indicator light that can illuminate the road if necessary. Better, side indicators are placed at the level of the footrests to announce to other users the intentions of the driver.

Finally, Pure Electric has developed its own steering system: Pure Control. An ingenious system that will apply resistance in order to systematically straighten the handlebars in the central position during turns. This is very practical when crossing a pothole for example.

A scooter at ease in town and in the countryside

If the use of a scooter is mainly done in town, it is not uncommon, if the road allows it, to use this means of transport on routes other than those well paved. Thus, the Pure Advance has wide tires tubeless 10 inches. These tires, by the absence of an inner tube, benefit from a much lower risk of puncture than conventional tires. They can ensure without risk the accelerations allowed by the 500 W motor (and 710 in peak power).

The puncture is not the only danger that awaits a scooter in town. Rain is also one of the environmental factors that can hinder journeys. Good news, Pure Electric has certified its Advance model to the IP65 standard, which means that it is resistant not only to dust, but also to “water jets with a lance”. Which more or less corresponds to the effect of a heavy downpour on your vehicle.

Finally, its storage is more than easy, even if you do not have large storage spaces since its footrests and handlebars are foldable.

Finally, the Pure Advance scooter from Pure Electric offers the best in terms of soft mobility. It is light, solid, compact and above all, it rethinks in a good way what is expected of a scooter in terms of ergonomics. Proposed at a price of 899 euros, it is available at Darty.
