Sophia Thomalla publishes sweet childhood memories

Sophia Thomalla (32) shared a special photo from her childhood. She posted a picture on Instagram, which shows her with her mother Simone Thomalla (56) and Rudi Assauer (1944-2019). The actress and the ex-manager of FC Schalke 04 were in a relationship from 2000 to 2009. The photo shows the former couple hugging in the stadium in Gelsenkirchen, little Sophia is standing between them in a blue Schalke sweater, the DFB Cup is at her feet.
“Hanging out in my old neighborhood makes me nostalgic,” Sophia Thomalla wrote about the picture. She grew up in Gelsenkirchen for several years during her mother’s relationship with Rudi Assauer. The former professional soccer player suffered from Alzheimer’s disease and died in February 2019 at the age of 74.
Enthusiastic comments gathered under the post. “How cute do you look there!!!”, wrote actor Kostja Ullmann (37). Frauke Ludowig (58) shared an emoji with hearts in her eyes. Caroline Beil (55) commented: “Sweet picture”. Mama Simone Thomalla sent several heart emojis. In just a few hours, the post had already garnered over 60,000 likes.
The relationships of the Thomallas
Sophia Thomalla comes from Simone Thomalla’s first marriage to André Vetters (62). The two were married from 1991 to 1995, Sophia was born in 1989. After that, the actress was in a relationship with her colleague Sven Martinek (57) from 1995 to 1999 before the relationship with Rudi Assauer followed. From 2009 to 2021, handball player Silvio Heinevetter (37) was the man at her side.
Daughter Sophia confirmed her relationship with tennis star Alexander Zverev (24) in October 2021 with a turtle photo on Instagram. She had previously been in a relationship with footballer Loris Karius (28) since 2019. In 2017 she was in a relationship with Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale (56). Before that, she was even married to a musician: Norwegian singer Andy LaPlegua (46) was Sophia Thomalla’s husband from 2016 to 2017. From 2011 to 2015, Rammstein singer Till Lindemann (59) was the man by her side.
