A camping holiday with a mobile home is actually about relaxation, about recharging your batteries in nature, and not so much about racing. But anyone who sees the GMC mobile home called “Moho” in the rear-view mirror on the motorway knows immediately – other priorities were set here.

The fastest mobile home in the world in pictures

The fully integrated RV achieved a measured top speed of 120 mph at the 2016 Bonneville Salt Flats Desert Race in Utah, reports Promobil. In order to reach this unusually high speed for a mobile home, special measures are required. The engine output of the GMC has been increased to 700 hp and a nitrous oxide injection system behind the driver’s seat has been added. There is also an automatic extinguishing device for all cases.

If you are already flying towards your next holiday destination at 200 km/h, you should rethink. On the one hand, the Speed-Mobil has just been sold via Facebook. The new owner wants to set a new speed record with it.

On the other hand, everything superfluous was removed from the interior of the mobile home. Bed, kitchen, toilet – none of that is there anymore. Instead, you’ll find a roll cage and undisguised technology. Everything has to be subordinate to speed here.
