With sundeck! – Rolls-Royce Boat Tail: luxury yacht on wheels

If you want and have sufficient financial resources, you can have your Rolls-Royce converted directly from the manufacturer. The manufacturer shows what is possible in a really small series.

Rolls Royce has launched a mini-series of three convertibles called Boat Tail. The coachbuilding department of the British luxury brand is responsible for the custom-made yacht building styling, which in the future intends to increasingly produce individually bodied vehicles for wealthy customers. Like other luxury manufacturers, Rolls-Royce is thus expanding its customization skills as a line of business.

As the name suggests, the Boat Tail is characterized by an elongated and elegantly tapered stern with an exclusive rear light design and a wooden deck on the top. A fabric roof emphasizes the coupé-like line. However, it cannot be stowed in the rear; it can only be removed as a whole.

Trunk flaps as a sundeck
Instead of a one-piece flap, two doors that open like butterfly wings lead to the XL trunk, which houses a champagne refrigerator, glasses and dishes. There are also two folding stools and a parasol in the rear. An exclusive exterior paintwork, spartan instrumentation and lots of fine leather are also part of the scope of equipment.

The almost 5.80 meter long cabriolet is appropriately powered by a V12 engine with probably around 600 hp. Rolls-Royce does not provide any information about the drive or the price. The latter will almost certainly be eight digits.
