A winning strategy which strengthens, year after year, its presence in a sector essentially dominated by Google and Microsoft.

Today, Proton finally announces the integration of an end-to-end encrypted note-taking tool into its already extensive application ecosystem, with the fresh acquisition of Standard Notes. Available on computer and mobile, the app is already supported by a community of 300,000 people. To reassure its users, Proton AG has confirmed that it will always be accessible independently of other Proton services, at the same price.

Launched in 2017, Standard Notes has followed a development path similar to that of Proton. Listening to its community, firmly committed to respecting privacy and anonymity online, the application has never given in to private investment funds.
