The complete technical sheet of the Galaxy S23 Ultra would have been revealed by the WinFuture site, accustomed to reliable leaks. Previous rumors would seem pretty accurate with the arrival of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the jump to 200 megapixels.
A Samsung launch without the full spec sheet leaking before its time wouldn’t be a Samsung launch. The German media WinFuturevery reliable on all its previous leaks, has published the probable technical sheet of the future Galaxy S23 Ultra, accompanied by visuals of the smartphone.
With its design still very inspired by the Note series and its integrated stylus, the Galaxy S23 Ultra should offer a 6.8-inch Amoled screen with a definition of 3088×1440 pixels, i.e. a pixel density of 500 dpi. The screen would be well protected by second-generation Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and would support HDR10+. It would be the only one in the range to be able to go down to 1 Hz. It could also go up to 120 Hz.
The Snapdragon, finally
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 would serve this phone, including in Europe. According to WinFuturethe chip should offer a 40% gain in performance compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and therefore an even greater gain compared to the Exynos 2200 to which we were entitled on the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The chip would be accompanied by at least 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, with a 12 GB version as well. The storage would start at 256 GB to go up to 1 TB, without the possibility of adding a microSD card.
The photo setup
Here is the expected configuration for the cameras:
- 200MP (main camera, 85°, f/1.7, 23mm, OIS);
- 12 Mpx (ultra wide angle, 120°, f/2.2, 13 mm);
- 10MP (telephoto, 36°, f/2.4, 69mm, OIS);
- 10MP (telephoto, 11°, f/4.9, 230mm, OIS, 10x optical zoom, 100x space zoom);
- 12MP (selfie, 80°, f/2.2, 25mm, HDR10+).
We therefore note a probable improvement for the main sensor, going from 108 Mpx to 200 Mpx. The selfie sensor would also question, since it would reduce the number of megapixels, going from 40 to 12 megapixels.
One UI 5.1 and dimensions
The phone should be able to run 8K at 30fps and 4K at 60fps. As pointed out WinFuturethe chip is theoretically capable of going up to 120 FPS in 4K.
For connectivity, we should count on WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC chip and Ultra Wide Band. The battery would go up to 5000 mAh and the charge at 45 W. Wireless charging at 10 W would also be in the game. It would be protected by IP68 and would weigh 233 grams for the following dimensions: 163.4 x 78.1 x 8.9 mm. Four colors are expected: black, cream, green and purple.
For the software part, Samsung should pull out of its hat a new version of its interface called One UI 5.1 and based on Android 13.
All these elements will be confirmed or denied on February 1, 2023, the day fixed for the Galaxy Unpacked. So all that’s missing is the price.
