Without a driver’s license – 17-year-old raced away from police at 187 km/h

At the weekend, a 17-year-old Viennese without a driver’s license went on a wild chase with the police in Lower Austria. He raced through the local area at a whopping 187 km/h, endangering several road users.

The young driver was first noticed by the police on Saturday around 5 p.m. He drifted the car into a roundabout. The 17-year-old continued his tour quickly. On the B303 it reached 187 km/h at the permitted 100 km/h, and in the Jetzelsdorf area it reached 130 km/h at the maximum permitted 50 km/h. Despite stop signs, stop signs were ignored, several other road users were forced to slow down and evade, stopped the police arrested. The patrol pursuit was broken off in Hadres – “due to the risky driving style and the danger to other road users and pedestrians” posed by the speed driver, as it was said in a broadcast from the Lower Austria State Police Directorate. The young person confessed. The young person was then investigated on Sunday. When questioned, the teenager said he fled because he didn’t have a driver’s license. An electric stun gun in the form of a flashlight and therefore a prohibited weapon as well as two stolen license plates were seized. 16 Administrative offenses The accused stated that he had found the Austrian plates lying on the street. He claims to have received the two pieces from Serbia as a gift. The 17-year-old is reported to the Vienna public prosecutor’s office on suspicion of endangering physical safety, coercion, suppression of documents and under the Weapons and Drugs Act. 16 administrative violations were also reported to the Hollabrunn district administration.
