Without a driver’s license – car thief stopped by the police with 1.8 per mille

Two car thieves from Serbia – 29 and 39 years old – were caught by the police at 11:15 p.m. on Sunday. According to the police, the two were under suspicion of stealing the car with which they were stopped in Lower Saxony, Germany. In addition, the 39-year-old driver of the car was heavily drunk.

On November 4th, the two Serbs are said to have stolen the car in Lower Saxony. The perpetrators then robbed the owner of the vehicle in the lower four-digit euro range. In the course of a driver and vehicle check carried out by the officials on Sunday, the 39-year-old driver and his accomplice (29) were finally arrested.

But that was not enough: In addition, the driver, with 1.8 per thousand, was heavily drunk and did not have a driver’s license. The police became aware of the car because the driver at the wheel was playing with the cell phone.
