The two were on the B100 in the local area of Spittal an der Drau at around 11 p.m. when the driver (21) – with the vehicle of his co-driver (42) – came off the road on the right. The car crashed head-on into the scaffolding of a house and partially caused it to collapse. Both the 21-year-old driver and his co-driver were uninjured. When the accident was recorded, the officers found that the driver was heavily alcoholic. In addition, marijuana was seized in the vehicle. However, the police could not take the driver’s license from Spittal because he did not have one.
And that’s not enough: The men are reported for violations under the COVID Measures Act.
From 11:45 p.m. to 1:15 a.m., the B100 in the area of Brückenstraße was closed due to clean-up work. The volunteer fire brigade was deployed with 15 men.
