Without any remorse, a 10-year-old boy suspected of the worst towards his mother

A family drama. In Milwaukee, USA, a 10-year-old boy killed his mother this Monday, November 21. According to local media TMJ4, the child would have shot her in a fit of anger. He indeed blamed his mother for waking him up early and not letting him order an item from Amazon.

The police arrived at the family’s home around 7 a.m. According to the child’s first statements, he was playing with the gun when a bullet accidentally flew and hit his mother in the head. The child then woke up his big sister, 26, to warn her. It was she who then contacted the emergency services.

The child showed no remorse

Facing the investigators, the young woman confided that her little brother had problems controlling anger and “five imaginary people were talking to him“. She also indicated that, the day after the tragedy, the young boy logged into his mother’s Amazon account to buy a virtual reality headset. Words that corroborate the “worrying diagnosis” of a psychotherapist who had been able to speak with the child.

Due to his young age, the little boy was allowed to stay with his family. But his behavior greatly disturbed those close to him, in particular his aunt, who explained to the police that his nephew had never cried, nor shown remorse after the death of his mother. He would even have confessed to having “actually pointed the gun at his mother” and that his act was voluntary. The day after the incident, the child even asked his aunt if his Amazon package had arrived. Accused of homicide, he risk up to 60 years of criminal imprisonment. He is due to appear again before a judge on December 7.
