Credit cards are more than just a payment option these days. Insurance packages and discount programs are common additional services. In the following overview you can find out which credit cards with travel insurance are available and which provider offers the best conditions. Free credit cards with travel insurance

Credit cards with travel insurance that you can get permanently without annual fees include the Advanzia MasterCard Goldthe payVIP Mastercard Gold as well as the TF MasterCard Gold. All three cards come with a comprehensive travel insurance package that includes travel accident, cancellation, luggage and health insurance for travel abroad. The benefit of the travel cancellation insurance for all three cards is limited to a maximum of 3,000 euros and has a deductible of 20 percent. The TF Mastercard Gold also offers travel comfort insurance that covers flight and luggage delays. However, it should be noted that the respective insurance companies depending on credit card usage for the travel booking. There are no additional fees for using the card inside and outside the euro zone. Cash withdrawals are also free of charge, but interest is paid from the day of payment with a debit interest rate of effectively 19.44 or 22.96 percent pa with the TF Mastercard Gold. Cheap credit cards with travel cancellation insurance

the Eurowings Classic credit card is ideal for travelers within the Eurozone, as card transactions are free of charge here. When used worldwide, fees of 1.99 percent of sales are due. With a fee of 29 euros from the second year, the card is cheap in comparison. However, cash withdrawals in the euro zone are expensive, accounting for 4 percent. Outside the EU, withdrawals cost 1.99 percent of the withdrawal amount.

Credit cards with travel cancellation insurance and checking account

These three cards are ideal for frequent travelers as they come with a comprehensive travel insurance package and are free abroad. In addition, a hotline is available around the clock for queries or problems.

You can also take out (internet) purchase insurance. A document service is included free of charge. It should be noted, however, that the conditions mentioned apply to active customers. In concrete terms, this means that if after six months there is no regular monthly payment from at least 700 euros was determined, the debit interest increases, the foreign transaction fee is 2.20 percent outside the euro area.

Premium and golden credit cards with travel cancellation insurance
