On Sunday morning, thieves stole an excavator and an attachment from a storage area in Gleisdorf (district of Weiz). The damage amounts to tens of thousands of euros.
The 31-year-old owner reported that around 5:00 a.m. three unknown perpetrators, who may have been traveling with a gray van, stole a trailer complete with an excavator and attachment (hydraulic chisel). The unknown perpetrators somehow gained access to the storage area was fenced off with construction site mesh. There they attached the trailer to the van and just drove away. The damage amounts to tens of thousands of euros.
