“Apparently nothing is sacred to them” – that’s what those responsible for the Arzl parish in Innsbruck must have thought when they discovered the badly damaged altar cross in the parish church. Vandals tore it down.
According to police, the crime happened between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Friday. It is currently unclear whether it is one or more perpetrators. According to investigators, the cross was badly damaged. It was torn down from the altar with brute force. The police are now hoping for witnesses who may have seen the vandals.
